Since 2017, Impact Hub Thimphu has supported entrepreneurs, youth innovators, startups, and changemakers through programs, partnerships, mentorship, and community-building initiatives across Bhutan.
When Impact Hub Thimphu was founded in 2017, we were among the early entrepreneurship support organizations in Bhutan. Since then, we have been actively contributing to the growth of a vibrant social innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, building experience in supporting diverse changemakers and scaling promising solutions.

We support young people to explore entrepreneurship, leadership, and social impact through programs that build self-awareness, purpose, confidence, and practical skills.
With support from the Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE), we have delivered Training of Trainers programs for teachers across universities and colleges in Bhutan. Through our blended learning approach, we engage students in practical entrepreneurship learning and help build foundational skills and entrepreneurial mindsets within the education system.
Through programs like Bodhi Roots, we nurture mindful, purpose-driven youth leaders and support them to take action within their communities. As part of this journey, we also plant saplings on behalf of participants, symbolizing long-term impact and care for Bhutan’s natural environment.

We maintain strong partnerships with government ministries, entrepreneur support organizations, private sector partners, and ecosystem actors. Through cross-sector dialogue and collaboration, including initiatives like Druk Tshongrig Gatoen, we work to strengthen Bhutan’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and support the growth of impact-driven ventures.
Our Impact Communication pillar supports and amplifies Bhutanese content creators who use media to drive positive social change. The media entrepreneurs we work with reach audiences across the country, sharing stories and campaigns on issues such as climate action, youth empowerment, and community wellbeing.
